Do you use a lot of garlic and/or onions in all the food you make?

I know it's a recipe for bad breath but I can't help to think of all the antioxidants I'd be getting. I also throw in minced ginger wherever I can. Ginger seems to help with maintaining a good weight, too.

  • I use as much as I can because I like the flavors, but garlic and onions are both murder on my esophagus and stomach. I can't eat raw onions at all, and I have to carefully limit how much garlic I indulge in.

  • Too much triggers my migraines. Garlic especially. I love it but I pay for it dearly. Took my years to figure it out! One
    Night I went to the Olive Garden, and by the time I was halfway home my eyes were swelling shut and I had an excruciating migraine. I could smell the garlic coming out of my pores. Just last night I added a little too much to a recipe, and before I was
    Done eating I could tell it wouldn't end well.
