  • Is it a girl dog or a boy dog? What does your daughter enjoy? Does she have a game she likes or a TV show she favors? Pick something that has significance to your family.

  • Darby is cute. It is so hard to name a pet that I can't see. Just don't go with anyone silly, like fluffy or something.

  • we were just adopted by a stray dog couple months ago..and my son(3 1/2) named her 'annie'..i went through all the disney/cartoon female names he knew, and when i got to 'little einsteins', he picked 'annie' over 'june'... i've always named my pets people-names, though. i've had male cats 'toby', 'horatio'(orange tabby...named after CSI-miami character), 'henry/henrietta' (i was a kid and didn't know he was a she!). oh i did have a female cat named 'tigger' but her previous owner had named her...good luck-the right name will feel right when it comes.
