  • VERY Slowly....& quietly change her. If it's solid then warm the wipes in you hand first & wash her backside when she wakes. If it's diarrhea, you have to wake her :(

  • I've always been a mom that wakes a sleeping baby when the diaper needs to be changed. Nothing worst than diaper rash plus I wouldn't want to sleep in a stinky diaper.
Hope she feels better soon, poor baby. :(

  • Yeah, I think you are gonna need to wake her. Poopy diaper = rash

  • This is the beauty of sleep sacks - I have changed babies without waking them!

Yes, please change her. The chances are she's so exhausted she'll drop off to sleep immediately.

  • Change the diaper.

  • I would change the diaper. I hate waking a sleeping baby just as much as the next person, but if I knew they were poopy I would do it. Mine don't even wake up when they are poopy, but if I had gone in to check on them and smelled it, they would get changed and put back down.

  • I would change my child. I wouldn't want to risk a massive diaper rash and a baby being cranky because of that.

  • From what I understand, you can leave a wet diaper for a little while, because urine is more sterile - but ALWAYS change a poopy one.
