  • I would make a sick appt with his regular ped in the am. No reason to take up space at the ER for this. If you have an after hours clinic near you, you might want to go there...

  • Why would you take him to the ER?

I would call his doctor first thing in the morning. Or go to a clinic at Walgreens or the supermarket.

  • Take him to his doc in the morning. If you don't have a regular doc, take him to a walk-in clinic.

  • If you can't keep the fever under 104 go to ER. If meds and cool baths can keep the fever under 104 wait and call the doctor in the morning. Most likely strep.

  • Maybe he has pneumonia. Has he been coughing? Ear infection? Make an appointment & bring him to the Pediatrician ASAP.

  • Strep throat. He needs to be seen by a doctor.

  • I'd just make an appointment with his primary doctor for tomorrow, or at most go to an urgent care clinic tonight. The emergency room should really be used for emergencies.

  • I'm afraid for you kid that you even had to ask this.... He should have gone to his regular doc earlier today...
