  • I prefer Macaulay of the names you mentioned. But I would just give him the name Mack or initials of MC if you want to call him Mack.

  • I prefer the spelling Cormak, but either way you spell it I like Cormac better than Macaulay. Macaulay Culkin anyone.

  • I like the others' suggestions of just naming him Mac/Mack or giving him a name with the initials MC/MAC. I'm not a fan of either of the names that you listed. :/

  • My initials are MAC and I sometimes am called MAC. Depending on your last name that might work or you could give him one first name and two middles and call him mac. I think you may want to go with given names and just give him the nick name regardless.
Of the two I like Cormac

  • My cousin's fiance has a little boy whose given name is Mack. It works well except that people are always asking her for his full name.

  • What about using an M first name (Michael, Matthew, etc.), then a C middle name (Chris, Connor, etc.) and use Mac as his nickname? If you just want to use Mac as a nickname, then that really broadens your name choices.
My nephew uses the nickname Jay but his name is actually John Walter (Last name). But his gfather is Walter and his dad goes by John. They wanted something different so they just used his first initial, "J"
