  • I would just have drinks and light ( clean) snacks.

  • I would put out some bottles of water and maybe some lemonade (nothing that will be horribly obvious if it is spilled) and maybe some cheese squares with crackers and a fruit or veggie tray. Oh, and a tin or two of Altoids or some of those pastel butter mints.

  • Cheese and crackers, Veggie tray.... Nothing with dips that will ruin outfits if spilled, nothing that requires more than 2 bites so lipstick doesn't wear off.
And have your A/C set at MAX so no one is sweating!

  • Keep it simple, especially if the kids will be going out to dinner. Cheese and crackers, fruit kabobs, or just drinks and chips, maybe mixed nuts.

  • What the others said. And maybe a bottle or two of sparkling cider if they want to celebrate.

  • Condoms!

  • They'll probably be too excited to eat anything, but it would be a good idea to have chips, mints and nuts sitting around and soft drinks and ice water.

  • Are parents coming over to take group photos?

Answer by KPBMom at 2:30 PM on May. 7, 2013

  • I don't know if they serve any food there (my prom didn't serve any and had only drinks), so unless they are all going out to eat first before heading to prom, then I would just serve a light snack. Seven layer dip and tortilla chips or nachos, summer sausage and cheeses with crackers, drinks, mozzarella sticks, stuffed mushrooms, spanikopita, taquitos, eggrolls, pasta salad, etc. Many of these items you can also buy frozen at the store and just heat them up.
