Why would someone have 2 Facebook accounts?

I find this strange, and old friend from school requested me as a friend, accepted, and when I got on her page, she only had 3 friends, oh well figured she must be new to Facebook.
Next day, I see another of our friends accepted her friend invite, this time to a page that had over 1,000 friends, under her married name.
She is a SAHM, so find it odd that she would need a business Facebook as well as a personal. I should add that the one she sent me the request on only has her mother and significant other and sister as friends.
I find it very odd that she has 2, maybe I am missing something?

  • Pretty sure multiple accounts (except for, like official pages you run through your account) violate the TOS...

  • Ask her about it? Maybe she didn't realize which account she was on. Or, perhaps, one of them isn't really hers at all and someone else is posing as her. I have two accounts only because when I had one, people kept trying to friend some bosses and coworkers I had on there to network, and I didn't like that at all, especially when they've never met them. I also had a few ex-friends that would friend every new person I added. It was so stalker-ish. So now, I separate my other friends from work friends, though really one account is really active now.
