Good adhesive eye patches.

My 3 year old has to start wearing the adhesive eye patches under his eye glasses for three hours a day. I'm looking for ones with a fun design to make things easier. Ortopad was reommended by his Dr. but I'd pretty much have to order them online. Any other sites where you found patches with cool designs that were affordable?

  • My son has to wear them too. I suggest staying away from the one with the designs because they do not stick well. We buy ours from WalMart and it is called Nexcare. Coverlet is OK too. On the patches we buy I just let my son decorate them if he wants.  Don't stay that good.  This is the one I used that didn't stick very well but you may like them.

  • Might I suggest getting the plain kind from Walmart and adding stickers? Much cheaper!!!

I'd also suggest checking where you bought your child's glasses! Ours had these thing that slid on over the glasses and completely BLOCKED the vision...on all sides. (we had it for our now 2 year old) It was so much better because the patches started irritating his skin and he only had to wear them for 4 hours a day.....they made him break out horribly! (the pulling off more than anything)

Let me see if I can find a picture of my boy's....
