  • Loo-EE-sah.

MANY of the words I say, and a lot of the way I speak has at least some southern influence. From 2-8 I was living with my Gramma, and she grew up in Tallahassee, FL. She was always a major influence on me as a young child. :)

  • I had two friends in first and second grade with almost the same name: one was named Louisa (loo-WEEZ-uh), the other was named Luisa (loo-EES-uh.) Does that help any?

  • I tend to say the "s" more like a hissing snake sound than a zipping zipper sound. But if you use the name, you'll get all sorts of pronunciations, and the only one you'll be able to control is your own.
