I'm exhausted and can't think. Do you think I need an appetizer?

I have family arriving from out of state tomorrow for my DD's bday. I have a huge early dinner planned for 4 ish. Here is my menu. Should I bother with an appetizer and if so what kind?

Roasted jalapeño and butter injected turkey
Oyster cornbread dressing
Fresh green beans and new potatoes
Roasted Brussels sprouts
Bacon Mac and cheese

  • Can I come over? Veggies sound good to me, or some mini crock pot meatballs!

  • Sounds delicious and rich... maybe something light for appetizers like a veggie tray.

  • I agree. Veggie tray would go well with all of that.

  • I'd maybe do a veggie tray, but that's about it.

  • Since I am sure you will have a birthday cake as well, I do not think an appetizer is necessary. If you do, go very simple,; cheese and crackers, chips and dip, or something similar. You are supposed to enjoy this too.

  • yummy you've done so much ,maybe an easy veggie carrots ,teardrop tomatoes ,packaged radishes ,slice some colorful bell peppers and a easy dip...ranch and call it a day.Or nothing because your meal sounds wonderful.

  • Maybe a veggie tray, but I wouldn't sweat it if you don't get around to it. You're serving a ton already.
