What exactly is a "cloggy boot"?

I applied for a job at a bar and the attire list says "no cloggy boots". They aren't open yet so I cant call to ask myself lol But what exactly is a "cloggy boot"?? I own knee high doc marten boots. Are those "cloggy"?

  • the list says "cloggy" not "clog". Maybe they do mean clog boots. I don't know. I guess I'll call them in a few.
    Paulie I assume it is because of the soles of them? Not sure!

  • I would htink they are referring to thick soled boots like this... They look like a slipping hazard...

  • I'm not sure what that is, but when I worked in a restaurant, we were only allowed to wear shoes with a certain type of sole that would grip the floor good. A clog is a wooden soled shoe.
