Looking for jeans for my son

My son is 6 years old and will be goign into size 8 jeans. He hates jeans he says they are uncomfortable blah blah blah. So i've been getting him the pull up type jeans with no buttons and he likes them. However in the places ive been finding then, they only go up to size 7.. Does anyone have any ideas who sells those type of jeans in a bigger size than a 7? He's thin but tall.

Thanks in advance.

  • No, but I would have him try on different brands of 'real' jeans. My son is very sensitive to clothing and only likes wearing Old Navy Jeans. He say's they are 'softer on the inside' I have no idea what that means... but he will only wear those.

  • Jeans are my trigger for SPD, so I totally understand what he means. I'd try different kinds of jeans, like But_Mommie said. Different types of jeans may feel different to him and he may find that he likes certain ones over others.

  • And only the 'loose cut' I tried to get him to wear a different cut of jeans... it did not go well... so try different styles as well.

  • My son hates jeans so I don't make him wear them. We get the cargo pants from Childrens Place... they are pull on with an inside adjustable waist and they look GREAT!! http://www.childrensplace.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/category_10001_10001_-1_132900_boy_26601%7C132911%7C132900_boy%7Cpants%7Ccargos

  • How about the soft athletic type pants with an elastic waist & stripe down the side? My Son loves them & they are super comfy.

  • My oldest never wore jeans until HS. My youngest boy is 7. He hates jeans. He only likes the soft, pull on nylon pants. I don't make him wear them. I agree, they are uncomfortable.

  • The only reason I like to have a few pairs of jeans is for the shirts that have no pants to match.. Thanks for all your suggestions, I'm just going to try and find the softest pair I can.

  • Girls jeans are so easy now. I buy my daughter jeggings and they feel like pajamas. But they look like jeans. They have to come out with something like that for boys.

  • Full elastic waist jeans at Sears. They go up to size 16/18. I buy them for my sons.
