it was flying with another red winged blackbird. perhaps a female or a baby?

  • beeky's right- its the female. i never thought to google image it. but if you google image sparrows there are similarities there too with the speckled chest.

  • I love the sounds those red-winged blackbirds make. We have a ditch near our house where they gather, and I like to open my windows on spring mornings so they wake me up.
