Long time since I've been on, but this is IMPORTANT!!

My husband and I are arguing, and I have to prove him wrong, so...

  • depends on the type of fishing
pan fish- snap in half or third
walleye or other large game fish - whole worm

also if getting low on worms and far from bait shop, but not want to stop fishing - snap those worms in half

  • regenerating - do not know, and does not matter,
the worms are used as bait, and therefore prolonging their life spam not in the equation

  • I use 1/2 the worm to conserve. As long as the hook is covered, why waste the whole worm? :p

  • My DH uses chicken liver. Catfish like that better. But if you are using worms. Use the whole thing.

  • I use a bit of cheese or a marshmallow. I couldn't quite deal with putting real worms on the hook. It's been at least fifteen years since I went fishing, though.
