What's your favorite way to season pork chops?

If you're just going to pan fry them.

  • I spread mustard on both sides, sprinkle with garlic salt. Brown on both sides. Remove the grease, add chops back into the pan and sprinkle with parsley. Pour Swanson chicken broth over chops, cover and simmer until tender.
You can also put chops in crockpot after browning.

  • With sherry, dijon mustard, and berry-flavored jam. After cooking the chops, I reduce the remaining sauce until it's thick, and pour it over the top.

  • If I'm pan frying them I just use Tony Chaceries, garlic powder and Old Bay.

If I'm grilling or doing them in the oven I marinate them in the following for at least 2 hours:
Dijon mustard, olive oil, finely chopped rosemary, lemon zest, lemon juice, crushed red peppers and garlic powder.

  • salt, pepper and a little flour if I am doing them in a pan. My favorite way to make them is in a crock pot- topped with a can of diced tomatoes and a can of black beans served over rice.

  • I like to get those Kraft Fresh Takes in the cheese section of the grocery store and bake the pork chops using one of those.
