Prom night

My 15 year old is going to prom apparently her friends mother is renting my DD's friend a hotel room after prom and buying the DD alcohol. My DD asked if she could stay at the hotel I told her absolutely not. She said all her friends are staying. Am I being unfair?

  • No. And when someone gets alcohol poisoning or gets in a car and gets killed, you'll be the one with a healthy, safe daughter who knows that her mother did what she did out of love.

  • You are so full of shit.

But the "am I being unfair" is a nice change of pace. Beats "opinions?" and "what do you think?"

  • No I am not full of shit don't respond to my questions if you believe I am so full of shit.

  • Not only would my kid not spend the night. I'd place an anonymous tip to the police.

  • What is the legal drinking age in your state? Most it is 21.
At what age would you like your child to get pregnant and have a child?
If the answers to these are 16 or younger then you are not being unfair.
If the answers are over 16 you are not being unfair at all.

BTW I would report to the cops what your daughter told you and which hotel they would be staying in.
