Have you tried or could you try this as an alternative to pasta?

Alternative to pasta: Bring a skillet to medium-high heat on the stove. Add slaw and 1/4 cup water. Stirring occasionally, cook until water has evaporated and slaw has softened slightly, about 5 - 8 minutes. Then add tomato sauce and any veggies you would normally eat with your pasta.

I like eating healthy, but not so sure I could do this instead of pasta... What about you?

  • I think I would be hungry about 5 minutes later. Reminds me of one of those 1974 weight watchers cards.

  • Instead of PASTA?!?! I don't think I could ever be that desperate.

  • That looks weird, I am pretty sure my son would kill me if I tried it.

  • I could never commit such a sin against pasta.

  • Eww. I eat weird food all the time and that sort of grosses me out

  • I would but I wouldn't put tomato sauce on it. I try and make a few Raw food meals a month and I've made "zuccini pasta" you take a veg peeler and make thin strips of Zuccini and put it with some olive oil and other seasonings, maybe a light Italian like dressing. It's like a cold pasta salad. That is what I would do with this stuff probably. Or warm and put with olive oil and seasoning.

  • I would try it if someone else made it, but I wouldn't buy it make it myself.

  • Eh.... doesn't really sound like an alternative to pasta to me.

But, I like putting broccoli slaw on my fish tacos!

  • It might be ok. I'd try it at least....
