Do you give end of school year gifts to the "Class Mother's"?

They have done a lot for the Kids this year. If you give them gifts along with the Teacher, what do you give? Thanks!

  • I am a Class Mother and I don't expect anything from my child's teachers. However we did get them something. We bought a picture frame, On the picture frame we will glue a bow and add cardstock where a picture would go. On one side of the cardstock we will put a calendar and the other side will be like a note book paper. We will also attach a dry erase marker with it. Cute dry erase board. :)

  • no. I am a class mother along with a lot of stuck up bitches that think they are entitled to gifts or any form of thanks. I VOULENTEER my time when I can to help in dd's class, I don't expect a "reward".

  • No, I don't give the teacher a gift either. Maybe that's wrong but, I feel like the teacher is paid and the mother's volunteered. They shouldn't expect gifts.

  • No idea what a class mother is.
My son has had 3 kindergarten teachers this year, his teacher was switched after 5 months, then we moved. I would have given the first teacher a gift, she was amazing.

  • Each class has two "Class Mother's" who have children in the class. They assist the Teacher with Holiday crafts & events in class. Like they set up & clean up when the kids have Holiday Parties in class for example. If you have questions about school happenings like the PTA events or Plant sales, Book fairs etc. You can email them for info or questions. Classes have 25 kids & one Teacher so they help out a lot since the Teacher is busy Teaching.

  • ^^^LOL! I feel bad because I would like to volunteer in class but I can't do it without bringing the baby & it's hard to watch her & help at the same time.
