2 Bumps

Helpppp :)

What film have you seen that you feel has influenced society?

I have come up with four on my own.. I only need two, but I would like to know if anyone can give me some better ones.

Thank you! :)

  • Supersize Me is undocumented junk science at its best, but it still managed to get a multinational corporation to change its policies to avoid the bad publicity it generated. It's actually a pretty big one. In the same category is Food, Inc. You didn't say what you need it for, but those 2 work together (the example of the wrong way to do it and the example of the right way to do it)

    Aside from that:
An Inconvenient Truth (more junk science rewarded with major acclaim and awards, despite being completely falsified)
Schindler's List (now required viewing in many schools)
Deep Throat (first movie to make porn "acceptable")

  • In thinking more about this, how do you mean "has influenced society?" Because I would think that the documentaries listed above are more influenced BY society more than they are influential TO society. If that makes any sense. Or maybe I'm over thinking this? lol
