  • I would think anywhere between 90 and 115 pounds you didn't say boy or girl, I assumed girl, but if it's a boy a little bit more. I would ask the doctor.

  • Worry less about ideal weight and talk about BMI
Those charts dont factor in musculature or bone size

  • Ask the doctor, as variables like bone structure can have an effect on ideal weight.

  • Ugg, people are so dumb. Bones are not different weights and sizes.(of same height) That is a myth. For a girl you wouldnt want to be under say 90 pounds, and anything over 115 is getting too high.

  • My son will be 13 in a few days, he's like 5 ft 7 and weights 120 lbs but he's muscular. It all depends, there are several factors - does he or she exercise? Do they eat reasonably healthy? I don't expect my kids to be 100% health nuts - but they get exercise and eat fairly healthy -
BUT now, my oldest daughter, she is 19 and 4 ft 10 and weights 98 lbs - I know, she does not drink soda, she does a jogging class in college. She is actually a little chunky, my option looking at her - but not over-weight - just healthy looking.
Does you son or daughter look healthy to you? Does he or she have healthy behaviors? Those are questions you'll have to answer.
No chart can tell you, if your really healthy or not.
