  • I mean this in the nicest way possible. Why would you want to start over? I'm 35 and have decided that I do not want to start over (just recently decided in the last month). I had my tubes tied 10+ yrs ago after the birth of my 3rd. After my divorce and finding a new SO, I thought I wanted 1 more and was looking into getting the reversal done. However, it is pretty expensive and then I started thinking about the fact that my youngest will be moving out in 6 yrs. If I get the reversal done, it will likely take me a yr to get pregnant. Which means that I would be 37 when that baby is born and when that baby turns 18, I will be 55.

But to answer your question, it depends on the type of reversal that was done. Did they snip and burn the tubes? Or did they just tie the tubes? If it was just tying, it is possible they have come undone themselves. As far as having a healthy baby at your age, it would depend on your overall health.

  • A mama in one of my groups just had a baby at age 50! (She used donor eggs but carried and birthed the baby herself).

    Where there's a will, there's a way, mama!
