1 Bump

When there is a bug in your house- do you kill it or set it free or let it be?

I kill or set free depending on what kind of bug. Spiders usually get squished.

  • We try to take it outside, but sometimes I just can't get ahold of it. Hubs will actually take the time to get something to capture it to take it outside... not me. Also, the bug man has sprayed so a lot of them are already dead by the time I see them.

  • Kill the fuckers. No mercy, no questions, no contemplation over what kind of bug it was. If it crosses the thresh hold, it's a dead bug.

  • Depends on the bug but I heard it's bad luck to kill a spider & a cricket. I usually let them be or if they are really big & creepy then I set them free. I will kill a Carpenter Ant though. They tell each other where the sweet stash is! LOL!

  • Kill it. My grandmother always said that she had an agreement with bugs: she left them alone if they were outside, but once they crossed the threshold, they got squashed.

  • Depends on the type of bug. Crickets will be set free, so will grasshoppers. Spiders and flies get smashed. Scorpions get killed twice, killed again, and then ground up in the garbage disposal.
