Honest advice for a baby name---is this too out there?

Primrose Elisabeth

I think it's a completely darling name.

I'd probably call her Rose. Prim or Rosebud as a nickname now and again.....

  • I don't think it's too out there, although I think the name Primrose will be more popular now that the Hunger Games books and movie are popular. It's a nice name, very feminine.

  • I wouldn't use it either, but it doesn't seem like there's anything wrong with it. What will her initials spell? If your last name starts with an E, back to the drawing board because your daughter won't want PEE as her initials!

  • Too prissy for my taste. Sorry. I like Elisabeth though.

  • I adore it for a little girl, but find it really annoying when I think of a 30 year old woman with that name, and back to adoring on a 60yr old woman. If she ever for whatever reason does not like the Whole Primrose for work, she can always shorten it to Rose and still be professionally. It's very nice.

  • Hooked on Hunger Games much?

Cute name, overall, but I would NOT name my child that any time soon.

  • I probably wouldn't use it but I like the sound of it. Very feminine. Might be interesting if you get a little tomboy tyke and there's nothing prim about her, but there's no way to predict that.
