  • Normal hormonal reaction to ovulation. You will just have to wait and see if you get your cycle in two weeks.

  • If your period isn't due for two weeks, then you're probably ovulating about now. In any case, there's no way to know you're pregnant till you miss a period.

  • Is this the first time you have tried to have a baby? You are 40 yo and do not know you have to wait tell you miss a period to know if you are pregnant? Like others have said. You are probably ovulating. Go have sex.

  • If you're period is due in 2 weeks, that means you'd only be ovulating NOW and couldn't possibly be pregnant.
You'd think after 40 years on planet earth you'd know how a cycle works....

  • We are not bulling you! You said you are 40, right? You should know about this stuff by now.

Answer by louise2 at 2:57 PM on May. 22, 2013

  • I wouldn't say any of this is bullying... but if you apply a little common sense and if you've learned anything about your body and how it works in your 40 years, you would know that 2 weeks out means you are just now ovulating and there is no way on this earth we could tell you from common female symptoms whether you are pregnant. So with all due respect, exercise 2 more weeks of patience and pee on a stick. In the meantime, since you are right around ovulation, get jiggy with it! Increase your chances by making sure you have sperm to meet with your newly released egg!
