Is there a trick to cleaning the inside of a crazy straw?

With the other straws I can use a pipe cleaner to clean any gunk out of the middle, but is the crazy straw something I have to toss out or use as a decoration in the garden or something?

I don't see a way to get dried milk out of the middle. Even with pressurized water and blowing and soap, not working.

  • I throw mine in the dishwasher and hope they melt, because I hate them. They never do though.

  • I HATE those stupid straws! My kids are only allowed to use them for water. I dont think there is anyway to clean them.

  • OK, reviewing the logistics of it all, manufacturing and packaging costs and the fact the finished product may only sell for a couple dollars, I'm not sure there is a profit in this!

  • Soak it & if it's still there later use it as a plant stake! LOL!

  • When I had a bottle sterilizer, I used to throw those stupid straws in there. You could also probably dip them briefly in oiled water. Personally, now that I don't have the sterilizer anymore, I just toss the straws in the trash after a few uses.
