Do you use Chinese 5 spice or just 5 spice seasoning?

  • I just looked it up and it said it's best on fatty meats such as duck or pork, or a rub on chicken and such. It sounds pretty good. We use Cumin on many things since my MIL introduced me to Turkish cooking.

  • I use Chinese 5 spice in Chinese recipes that call for it. I'm a Ken Hom worshipper ... :)

  • I use 5 spice in some Chinese recipes, like add it to the breading of Kung pao chicken or the batter of my sweet and sour chicken.

  • It only say Five Spice Power .. I am guessing Chinese since it says China Bowl on the label..

  • I have printed out 2 chicken recipes to marinade using some 5 spice, sounds good
