Question- grilling with an electric foreman grill

ive never grilled fish on it. i know i need to make foil packets for the fish, but my question is- do i leave the top open or closed? if i close it, the top will touch down on the foil. i know with a regular grill the hood doesn't touch the foil. so im just not sure if i should leave it open or closed because of the sticking issue.

  • With electric grills the top will touch the foil, intent of design was essentially so you can cook both sides evenly and cut down the total grilling time.
