ok a couple month ago i was eating crablegs and went to sleep when I woke up my face was swollen does that mean i cant eat shrimp

  • How old are you? That you don't know you are alergic to seafood or not? You must not eat it that much?
    I say eat on shrimp. Wait a half an hour. If you have not effects. You are ok.

  • I had a friend that discovered a shellfish allergy from eating at a hibachi grill where they cooked shrimp and scallops with the other meats. Go to an allergist and get tested.

  • You can develope shell fish allergies at any age. My mom ate seafood all her life. She was about 45 when she had her first reaction. She can't eat any shell fish anymore. If you risk it get some benedryl to have on hand in case.

  • sometimes i eat shrimp or crab- i get red and splotchy
    sometimes not
    but every time when i have octopus
    just red blotches never swollen

    but swollen is kind of scary
    i would go to a doctor and get tests
