How can I keep my salvia blooming all summer?

I was told to remove spent flowers. Do I cut down the stem or just remove the flowers? This is the annual. Thanks!

  • Uh... are you planning on chewing the leaves, or drying it out to smoke it? I heard chewing it is the best way... it's how old monks used to do it, I think.

  • Flower food supplements can also help and check to see what soil acidity is best for it. Usually the plant tag tells you everything.
