How old

was you child when they started walking alone? my son started crawling at about 5 months and he pulls himself up on everything!

  • He started the day before his birthday really going distances without grabbing things, like one room to the other. He has finally mastered the transition from carpet to linoleum and back. The linoleum used to trip him up.

  • DD was around 9/10 months cause she wanted to get away from me and DS waited till almost 14 months b/c he never wanted to leave me haha.

  • One was 11 months when she stared to fully walk instead of crawl. One was 15 months, one was 16 months.

  • I think mine was about eight months old when she took her first few steps without holding onto anything, but for a few months after that she still preferred crawling because she got where she wanted to go a lot faster.
