Is it true that you are more likely to have twins after a miscarriage?

I just had a miscarriage and several people have told me that it is easier to get pregnant right away after and that I may be more likely to have twins if I do. Has anyone else ever heard of this?

  • First, I am so sorry for your loss :(

Second, Someone just asked this yesterday....

No it is not true. It is an old wives tale. You are not anymore likely to have twins than you were before your miscarriage.
