  • It is depending on your skin. Sometimes they stand out more appear lighter or "shinier" other times they actually blend better. I also have to warn you about the risks of skin cancer, tan safely and slowly you may want to ask your doctor the best way, the scars from skin cancer are definately uglier than being peekid, so be careful.

  • I have stretch marks on my legs. If your stretch marks are still purplish then tanning won't cover them but if they have faded the tan will help camouflage them.

  • getting any sun while the marks are still healing can actually prolong how long they will stay dark.

  • Im not sure about the tanning part but I do know of a product to help fade them FAST. Anew clinical stretchmark smoother from Avon starts fading stretchmarks in as little as 2 weeks. Its only $25.00 much less than pricy products in retail stores. Check it out Good Luck!

  • I've been tanning and it helped mine! It made them turn white & light peach-ish instead of red/light purple. But you can still see them for sure..just not as bad!
