1 Bump

My two yaer old fell on an ant pile and got some ant bites on her hand. Its getting really swollen and she says it hurts because her skin is so tight. Any advice on what i should do

  • You've got to know that the correct answer is to either call her physician or take her to ER, right? I mean, the correct answer is NOT wait to see if she goes into anaphylactic shock...

  • She needs to be seen. If you have insurance then maybe call the nurseline on the back of the card, but in the mean time get yourself and her ready to head to the ER.

  • Benadryl, a cold compress to take down the swelling, and a trip to urgent care tomorrow if the symptoms haven't improved. Also, make sure her throat is not tight and she's breathing okay. If either of those problems occur, call 911, because she might have an allergy.
