For temporary relieve for tooth pain, soak a cotton ball in vanilla extract. Pat around the gum level. This will help alleviate the pain. Try it, it works!

  • Also, dampen your finger and dip it into ground cloves, then smear the stuff around where your tooth is hurting. It doesn't taste all that great, but one of the moms on CM recommended it to me when I was in misery before I had my bad tooth extracted last winter, and it kept me from going out of my mind with the pain. It really works.

  • This should help you go to sleep. The alcohol in the Vanilla extract is what does the trick.
