Good Cell Phone provider

I'm interested in buying a new smartphone, I was wondering who has the better plan and who provides good service. I was looking at the Samsung S3 oR 4 and my teen wanted the iPhone 4s. Suggestions are needed, I'll be getting a contract I Will be responding to your answers, so check back

  • I'm not sure who the best contract provider is, but I'm pretty partial to my Straight-talk. We paid a year ahead of time. Unlimited talk, text, and web, and no major issues. Service where a lot of others do not have any. Love them.

As far as contracts, not sure, but I, personally, would probably not go with At&t if I had a contract.

  • I have Verizon, mostly because their coverage is really good and everyone here has them so most of my mobile to mobile calling is free. When I lived in Illinois, I had US Cellular, and they were great. Really good customer service. They don't have coverage here though.

  • LostSoul: Maybe just their prepaid service is bad? I hadn't had a contract w/them.

  • If you get a contract with anyone, but especially with Verizon, just make sure nothing short of death will make you break that contract. I got $69 of $175 back from Verizon in a class action law suit of people who had been unfairly charged early termination fees after being told they weren't under contract during a phone call, and then having their contracts restarted because of that same phone call so they'd have to pay for terminating early. I wouldn't do business with Verzon again if it was the last company standing. I'm with TMobile, and it's not bad, but I'm thinking of going to StraighTalk or Consumer Cellular for a better price with a prepaid plan.
