How do your write this?

"I red a letter from my mom."
Or is it "I read a letter from my mom."
I know I should know this. But I don't.
I know the word red is the color. But how do you spell the word for I red something?

  • When it's talking about words, it's always read. Red is a color. Also, there are three different forms of there (their, they're) and their is only ever referring to people's possessions.
