  • Why do I have a feeling that you are trying to figure out WHO the dad is?

  • It goes by the date of your last menstrual period not the conception date. Then later they can change it by gestational growth measurements.

  • What pp has said... And that's not a huge change in due dates I wouldn't b concerned! Plus baby will come when he/she wants!!

  • Ironically, my original given due date was July 30th (2008) but after the first ultrasound it they switched it to August 3rd. The first date they give is usually a guess based off the date of your last period. Then when they do the measurements during the ultrasound it's a little more accurate.

  • Not unusual, don't sweat it, because it's not an exact science. :)

  • 40 weeks from LMP 38 weeks from conception

  • The first ultrasound measurements are usually the most accurate, but the due date is only a prediction. It could be off as much as a week or two in either direction.

  • A due date is an estimate and he's basing this later dates on the size and development of the baby.
