How often do you clean and polish your leather things?

  • I polish my DH's work shoes when they need it. I wipe my handbags down just to clean them & I wipe the couch with windex or soap & water when it looks shmutzy (it's ivory leather).

  • Gosh I have so many leather items! It would take me all day to clean the whips, tassels and assless chaps...LOL KIDDING. I hate leather. There's no point in it because it's such a pain to maintain, but more importantly, it's not animal friendly. There's no reason why other materials can't be used. Also, something about leather once being a living being's skin just grosses me out.

  • The only nice leather I have is a pair of boots that I Get cleaned and polished every year or two. Probably not often enough.

    I spot clean when needed. That's about it.

  • I don't have any leather clothes (unlike PGA)^ but leather purses, shoes - when they look a little soiled.
