My Neighbor has one tape/cd, Lynyrd Skynyrd-Free bird..... :P

I listen to it over & over & over....every summer. He blasts it in his backyard. While I do like Lynyrd Skynyrd, enough already! LOL! What CD do you think I should drop in his mailbox so I can get some relief from this madness??? He's got to be in his late 50's early 60's. He's actually a nice guy.

  • Maybe he'd like some CCR, Molly Hatchet, Doobie Bros, etc. (something from that era) so you don't want to go over there & blow up his 8 track & speakers! lol :p

  • John Forgerty actually has a new album too. Little River Band, and you can't go wrong with a little Alabama...well if you like that kind of music.

  • It could always be worse. I had a neighbor in this rathole apartment I lived in after my divorce, and the only CD he seemed to own was of some third-rate mariachi band. I could never understand the actual words to the song, but what it sounded like at distorted high volume through the walls, every night, when he'd sit down with his 12-pack and fall asleep to the music that never turned off, was "I need a one-ton tomato." Sometimes I literally cried myself to sleep because I couldn't get that music out of my head.

  • Or you could try to introduce him to some more modern music that has that same 'feel' or 'vibe': Blackberry Smoke, Alabama Shakes, Jamey Johnson.

  • he could be listening to obnoxious rap or some such thing instead! I'd gladly take Free Bird over that!
