How to get cats to stay out of my yard?!

there are 3 neighborhood cats that poop in my bushes and make all sorts of whiny moaning noises at night in my front yard. they also fight in my bushes. i hate them and i hate their owners who let them out to roam the neighborhood. ive called animal control several times, and they've picked them up, but since they're pets the owners just go get them and let them back out into the neighborhood.

is there some kinda home remedy or non-poisonous way to keep the stupid mangy furbutts from pooping in my yard? there poop makes my whole entry way reek.

  • How about a live trap? Nothing like a pissed off kitty being set on the owners porch to get the message across! I love animals & frankly, it's not their fault their owners are morons. Can you get a dog?! :p

  • Panther or lion urine works. You have to spray your yard each time it rains. Actually any large cat urine will work.
