  • Under your right rib cage are your liver, your gall bladder, your pancreas, the top of your right kidney, and a loop of your large intestine. So, it could come from a lot of different things

  • Something to call the dr about. They may want to know what you ate, if you have a fever, if you think you could have strained or injured your back with recent activity.

It could be something internal. Or it could just be painful gas. Make note if the pain moves from one area to another.

  • My 1st thought is a kidney stone, but there could be many other reasons. As stated already, ask your dr.

  • Gallstones? Ask for an abdominal ultrasound.

  • You need to see a doctor to get tests and a physical examination done. You could call every day to find out if there are any cancellations if you can't get in right away, but also make an appointment just in case you can't find anything earlier.  If the pain is that bad and doesn't stop, go to your nearest urgent care center. They're walk-in basis and cost less than emergency room visits (usually, but check your insurance coverage).  If you have no insurance, you can buy discount healthcare (not insurance but close enough) from
