Artificial or the real deal?

Are there any foods you prefer more in their artificial, or fake, form rather than their true taste?
For me, I prefer artificial peach such as peach yogurt to eating an actual peach, but artificial watermelon is gag-worthy where as real watermelon is amazing.

What about you?

  • Blueberry flavored stuff is great. Blueberries themselves are gritty and I don't like them.

  • The only thing artificial we eat is sweetener and that is only because DH is diabetic

  • I pretty much like the real deal with fruits and stuff, except raspberries. I love raspberry jelly, but I don't like the seeds in the real whole berries. And no artificial sweeteners of any kind.

  • Bananas. I hate bananas, I think it's a texture thing, but I love banana flavored snow cones and stuff lol. Other than that I either like the real thing better or like them either way.

  • I'm the opposite. I love fresh cherries and grapes. Hate anything cherry or grape flavored.

  • I don't know that I'd say I prefer artificial over real, but there are some things that I don't like to eat but I don't hate the flavor of. Like I can't stand to eat strawberries, but strawberry juice, syrup, etc. is okay.

  • There were some crackers they sold at Aldi's for a while that were supposed to be bacon cheddar. They didn't taste like bacon or cheddar, but whatever it was, it tasted good. DH was sad when they quit carrying them.
