How do you measure an ounce?

I was wondering if anybody knew how much was an ounce of cheese. It will be being cut from a block of cheese. I need to know how to get an ounce for a diet trial run I am doing.

  • You can also buy scales for pretty cheap now as well. If this is an extended diet you are going to do it might be a good idea to invest in one.

  • Have your dealer do it?! LOL :p Some measuring cups have ounces on them. Or a shot glass would work.

  • An ounce is equal to 28 grams. I agree, get a food scale. I have one and love it. I use it for all sorts of other cooking, too.
