My 18 month old son has a habit of putting everything in his mouth? How can I get rid of his this habit?

  • He will grow out of it. Continue telling him no and redirecting him. He will eventually get over it.

  • put a few drops of lemon juice on toys to train him so he learns not to put other things in his mouth

  • Totally normal and each child stops doing it over time. Babies explore their world with their mouth for a long time and it is something they grow out of on their own. That's why they need so much constant supervision until they do.

  • My son did it up to the age of 2 almost. Sometimes you have to choose when to say something. Saying No can make them want to do it more. it is a fraze and he will grow out of it. good luck

  • Toddlers explore everything with their mouths. Don't make a big deal of it. Just tell him no, redirect him to something more appropriate, and wait another year or to for him to grow out of the habit.
