That happened to me too when my Son was around 3. I was talking about the new Train Table they got in the Library to another Mom & I said I bought one for my Son for Christmas. Then a real A-HOLE Woman said "sure you can afford it, your his Grandma". The other Mom said "NO, She is his MOM! I wanted to spit at her but just glared at her with a smirk. She never came to Toddler Playtime again. I can't imagine what she would say now when I bring my Daughter. Probably ask if I'm the Great Grandma! LOL! Some people have diarrhea of the mouth & don't have the capability to think before they speak.
Maybe he was the child's Grandpa???
Did he have on a Wedding ring??
