Have you ever had vertigo?

How long did it last and what did you do to make it better?

  • My dad has some sort of vertigo that happened when he would lay down at night and his dr. recommended a different way to sit and lay down and it helped him immensely.

  • Yes, and it is miserable. I take motion sickness pills. But you should make sure yours isn't because of ear infection.

  • My Sister gets it so bad that she goes to the Hospital. They gave her medication for it but she just tries to ride it out. Like the previous poster said, just make sure there is no infection. See your Dr. ASAP. Hope you feel better soon :(

  • A friend of mine had unexplained vertigo, and it turned out to be a gluten allergy. My boyfriend's ex had it, and the doctors had her put baby oil in her ears to break up the crystals in the ear fluid that were causing it. Definitely see a doc.

  • I'm going to the Dr. tomorrow. It looks like there are some maneuvers they can try in office if they diagnose it as BPPV.
