Is there a name you REALLY wanted to use but your SO vetoed it?

DS is Carl Padaric. I wanted him to be Carl Alexander but DH was having no part of it. We FINALLY agreed on Padaric as a middle name.

DD is Quinn Cameron. Man we were back and forth over this one FOREVER. I was set on Quinn Chrystie but DH said no way in Hell.

Thank goodness we are done naming kids!!

  • Oh my kids are Kayla and Conner

  • Nope our kids told me their names when they were about 4 months old. I knew their sex as well. They simply were what they told me and DH was fine with it. He might have had issues if I had named them something totally off the wall.

It is my understanding that the mother has full rights to the naming. Of course the living is easier if you can agree.

  • DS1 I wanted Andrew Dean, dh vetoed it so we went with Andrew Ryan
DS2 I wanted Bennet James, DH hated it so much that even though I fought for it really hard, in the end I started to hate it too, we went with Lucas James (He is so much more a Lucas than a Bennet)
