Would this be possible?

My kitchen counter has that real strong adhesive liner like top and the print of it is a oak color wood (very 70's) but it works.
Well I was just wondering what if I were to lay small tiles on top of this liner bc it is flat and just go with it. I saw these small tiles connected to each other like in sheets at Lowe's and my mind just wandered off like wow I wonder if this could be done and very carefully...I want to do this but I know my dh wouldn't approve :/
He's always blowing my bubble...ugh!

Your thought ladies and thx!

  • I don't know about counters but I'm doing the backsplash behind my stove with the same type of tiles.
