When can sciatica occur?

im having pain in my right hip area and my lower back down the back of my right leg to about just above the back of my knee.


like a pulling sharp pain sudden.

  • Normally that happens in the third trimester, but it can happen at any time.

  • It's not exclusive to pregnancy. It can happen at any time.... even if you are not pregnant.

  • It doesn't always happen during pregnancy, it can happen any time to anyone, even men.

  • It can happen to anyone at any time. One thing that helped a lot was to lift my leg slightly, like 45 degrees, and have my husband pull. Instant relief.

  • I had it when I wasn't pregnant, from an injury I got when the hammock I was lounging in pulled itself free from the patio roof and dumped me on the cement.
