How many times a week should I work out with weights?

Five days a week I do cardio following Leslie Sansone Walk At home videos. Some of them have weights involved but I do not do an actual weight routine. Should I? How many times per week?

  • At least 3 times a week. I do the Cassey Ho Youtube exercises with weights (especially her ab routines) and they really do burn. I do about 5-10 mins of light weights every day though

  • At least every other day or longer , eat protein .

  • 2-3 times a week is plenty. Never work the same muscle group on two consecutive days, including abs.

  • Yes, it should be atleast 3 days a week and alternating muscle groups. Also drink protein everyday to help build muscle. good luck!
